HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR PARTNER?
I met Nicholas in high school. He was the new kid and I noticed him one day while playing handball at lunch with friends. I introduced myself and from then on, he always left a space for me to stand next to him in line. We didn’t date until our senior years, but we have been together ever since.  Â
WHERE IN PARIS DID YOU GET MARRIED?
Nic and I were married in Luxembourg Gardens in front of the Medici Fountain. We had never travelled to Europe before and after being together for 10 years we decided to elope overseas in Paris – the city of love. My youngest sister and some of our high school friends who were travelling at the time attended and we drank champagne and went out to dinner to celebrate at Au Bon Accueil. It was the most beautiful day and one that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR DAY?
Our favourite moment of the wedding day was undoubtedly hearing each other’s vows and driving to various locations around Paris to take photos. The team at The Paris Elopement and Through the Glass Paris made our wedding so special and memorable, driving us to stunning locations such as the bridge overlooking the Seine River, charming laneways and gorgeous café fronts.

WHICH BEC + BRIDGE DRESS DID YOU WEAR + HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS THE ONE FOR YOU?
I chose to wear the Moon Dance Verona Maxi Dress for our wedding day. I loved the silky finish and effortless flow of the gown. As soon as it arrived, I tried it on and I was in love! It fit my frame and waist perfectly and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANY SOON-TO-BE BRIDE?
Constantly check in and remind yourself of what the true purpose of the day is… to marry the person you love. Keep that at the forefront of your mind and try not to get caught up on the other stuff. Lastly, soak it all up and enjoy your special day!
